Currency

Single currency Everything is bought, sold and reported in one currency. Multi-currency Trade in several currencies. Reports are in your local currency; a group currency (e.g. USD) is kept for consolidation.

Your default for customers, prices and reports.

Group currency (system)*

For consolidating with other group companies, journals and conversions — e.g. USD.

Local currency*

Company-code currency: every screen and report is in it. Set from your country; change only if needed.

You can add more currencies (e.g. EUR, GBP) and exchange rates in Settings after you go live.

Tax number (optional)

Your tax registration number, e.g. the KRA PIN in Kenya or the TIN in Uganda and Tanzania. You can add it later in Tax setup.

Financial year starts in *

Many Kenyan companies use January or July.

Branches & warehouses

Your head office is the first branch. Add any other branches or shops below — each gets a unique code, and a default warehouse is created for every branch automatically. You can add more warehouses after you go live.
