Can a van sell on credit?

Only if Van sales › Settings allows it - cash only by default.

Steps

  1. On Van sales → Vans & salespeople → Van sales settings choose Cash sales only or Allow credit sales.
  2. Cash only: every sale from a van is paid as it is made - at the van POS there is no Credit button, and an invoice from a van’s warehouse is posted only with its payment (cash, M-Pesa or card), whoever the customer; there is no “credit this once” override.
  3. Credit allowed: only customers with credit terms, within their credit limit, as at any counter. Every credit sale shows in Reports → Credit sales until it is paid.

Good to know

  • The van setting applies to van counters only - the shop POS keeps its own setting in Settings › POS.
