I changed a layout but the printout still looks the same

Layout changes take effect only once they are published, and only for the template being used.

Steps

  1. Open the template in Settings → Document layouts - if it says Published · unpublished changes or Draft - not published, click Publish….
  2. Check the template is the default for that document (or pick it from the Template list when printing).
  3. Archived templates are no longer offered - click Bring back.
