Lease statement: revenue, purchases, expenses and profit

One page per lease: what it earned, what it cost, and how that compares with the agreement.

Steps

  1. Open the agreement and choose Statement & profitability. Choose the period: Life to date, a preset, A specific date or Date range (from โ†’ to).
  2. Result: revenue (invoices and credit notes, prepaid hours earned), less supplier invoices, expenses, crew and direct costs, and other costs of its machines while on hire - the contribution - then the depreciation of our machines while on hire, and the profit and margin.
  3. Against the agreement: for each machine, the hours or days worked, the revenue at the agreed rate, the partnerโ€™s charge (hired in, e.g. 5,000 an hour), share (co-owned) or the ownerโ€™s part (managed), and the crew per day worked - the agreed margin, against the actual one.
  4. Below: the invoices with what is paid and unpaid, the supplier invoices (and orders not yet invoiced), the expenses, and every ledger line behind the result.
  5. Print / PDF prints the statement; Export (CSV) downloads the lines.

Good to know

  • The result is from the ledger - drafts are not in it. Hired-in example: our rate 7,000 an hour, the partnerโ€™s 5,000 โ†’ 2,000 an hour agreed margin; 126 hours โ†’ 252,000.
