Setting up warranties

Dynamic: by product, category or brand; by time and/or usage.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Warranty โ†’ New warranty policy.
  2. Choose what it covers: one product, a category and/or brand, or nothing (the general policy).
  3. Set the months and/or a usage limit (km, running hours, cycles) - whichever comes first - and when it starts: the date sold, delivered or registered. Add the terms and what isn't covered.

Good to know

  • The most specific policy applies: the product, then category + brand, the category, the brand, then the general one.
  • Extend one unit's warranty (an extended warranty sold, goodwill) by its serial - the months and usage are added.
  • Look up any unit in Customer experience โ†’ Warranty.
