Branches and warehouses

Branches are your locations; warehouses hold stock and belong to a branch.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Branches and add each location (e.g. HQ Nakuru, Eldoret) with Add branch.
  2. Each branch gets its default warehouse automatically, coded with the branch code and -WH (e.g. NKR-WH).
  3. To add more stores, go to Settings → Warehouses, click Add warehouse and choose their branch.
  4. To make another warehouse the branch's default, click Make default beside it.

Good to know

  • Sales and purchases record their branch and warehouse, so reports can be split by location.
